Christopher Bertels

Christopher Bertels' practice focuses on HOA and Condominium law in the areas of real estate and commercial litigation.

Prior to joining The Law Office of Patrick H. Willis, he was an associate attorney with an Orlando law practice specializing in finance, debtor and creditor mortgage financing for real estate, where he represented major lenders in foreclosure actions. He was also a volunteer attorney with a Pinellas County, Florida legal aid office focusing on consumer protection, landlord/tenant disputes, and foreclosure defense.

Mr. Bertels received his Juris Doctor from Oklahoma City University School of Law, in May 2012 and Bachelor of Arts from the University of South Florida in May 2004, graduating with a major in Sociology. While in law school, he received numerous awards for his pro bono service with the Guardian Ad Litem’s Office and the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

Mr. Bertels is licensed to practice law in Florida and is admitted in the U.S. District Court for the Middle and Southern Districts of Florida and is a member of the Orange County Bar Association.
